Positive Outcomes Care in the Community

The Village of Positive Outcomes’ support services empower you and help you gain the Independent Living Skills needed to transition into adult life. We bridge the gap between the landlord and the local authority/young person by giving the landlord reassurances that along side our bespoke outreach support services, we guarantee that the property will be maintained and returned in same standard in which it was given.

Support that Makes a Difference

We provide safe, supportive accommodation for young people aged 16 and over, offering semi-independent living for those transitioning towards adulthood. For individuals aged 18 and above, we offer tailored housing solutions that promote independence and personal growth. Our dedicated team ensures every resident has the stability and support they need to thrive. We offer personalised support plans, life skills training, and access to trusted professionals to help each person reach their full potential.

16+ Semi-independent Living

Care leavers often have poor independent living skills and a lack of knowledge around managing finances. When in care their finances are looked after by a social worker and they are given a personal allowance. Therefore, they have no experience of paying rent, bills and meeting other financial obligations that are required of them as an adult.

Care leavers face a range of challenges following their departure from care. These challenges include education, mental health, unemployment, crime and homelessness however a lot of these challenges are influenced by the stereotype of being labelled a care leaver.

As well as this, our team provide dedicated Outreach Support services to individuals to allow them access to the support network they need to grow and develop into a young adult. You can find out more about this service here.

18+ Accommodation

Eligibility requirements:

We are the Housing Department for the Village of Positive Outcomes, providing quality accommodation for individuals aged 18 to 65 who are in receipt of housing benefit and have the right to live and work in the UK.

Our accommodation is available with optional support packages for those under the care of local authority social care teams, ensuring that residents receive the help they need to maintain stable tenancies and progress towards independent living. We also offer practical support in developing independent living skills — such as budgeting, cooking, household management, personal wellbeing, and navigating the everyday challenges of living alone.

Our aim is to provide safe, supportive housing that empowers individuals to build confidence and long-term stability.
