Empowering Through Education
Education
Here at The Positive Outcomes Empowerment Centre, we offer bespoke educational services tailored to the individual needs of young people aged 11 to 18. Our specialist tutoring focuses on core subjects such as English and Maths, with targeted support designed around GCSE level learning and exam preparation.
Whether helping young people to catch up, boost their confidence, or achieve higher grades, our personalised approach ensures each student receives the guidance and encouragement they need to reach their full academic potential. Our flexible delivery allows us to support learners in a range of settings, from one-to-one sessions to small group work, helping them to thrive in education and beyond.
Training
The Positive Outcomes Empowerment Centre offers comprehensive training programmes designed to better equip young people for employment and independent living. Our approach combines practical vocational training with essential textbook learning, giving young people the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive in the real world.
Whether it’s hands-on experience in trades, creative industries, or service roles, or developing key literacy, numeracy, and workplace understanding, our tailored training helps bridge the gap between education and employment. We prepare young people not only for the job market but also for the everyday challenges of adult life.
Employment & Employability Skills
At The Positive Outcomes Empowerment Centre, we support young people to develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed to enter the world of work. Through our strong employment links across the South of England, we connect young people with opportunities in a range of sectors, including retail, construction, hospitality, and the creative industries.
Our Employability Skills programme covers CV writing, application forms, interview preparation, workplace expectations, communication skills, professional presentation, and confidence building. By combining practical training with access to real employment opportunities, we help young people take positive steps towards securing and sustaining meaningful careers.
Workshop
At The Positive Outcomes Empowerment Centre, we deliver a wide range of engaging and impactful workshops designed to educate, empower, and inspire young people aged 11–18. Our flagship programmes include Reactions & Responses, Gangs, Drugs & Grooming, Healthy Relationships, Boxing & Discipline, Young Males – Masculinity & Change, Young Females – Periods, Puberty & Contraception, Online Safety, and Who Am I? Exploring Identity.
Through a combination of mentoring, group discussions, practical activities, creative learning, and reflective exercises, our workshops help young people develop emotional resilience, improve decision-making, build self-confidence, strengthen relationships, and better understand the challenges they may face in today’s society. We tackle important topics such as emotional regulation, identity, exploitation, county lines, healthy relationships, personal responsibility, mental wellbeing, and life skills in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
Whether delivered within schools, alternative provisions, children’s homes, youth centres, or community settings, our workshops are designed to create lasting positive change, helping young people recognise their strengths, overcome barriers, and achieve their full potential.
